**Job Description**:
Responsibilities:
- Under general supervision, proficiently performs repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance on building and facilities, equipment, fixtures.
- Performs maintenance service and repairs in the areas of carpentry, painting, plastering.
- Repairs or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
- Diagnose, mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking, blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.
- Inspect, drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists.
- Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe, systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment. Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
Qualifications:
**Requirements**:
- Requires a technical high school certificate or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires at least 2 years related experience.
- Strong knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Strong Knowledge of materials, methods, and, the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings, or other structures.
- Strong Knowledge of design techniques, tools, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
