**DESCRIPTION**
- Evaluate the supplier’s performance to meet the customer quality targets
- Work along with suppliers to meet all needed activities and avoid deviations
- Review supplier manufacturing processes and identify potential issues
- Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and follow up / validation of actions
- Follow up on the production floor to track the progress of the actions and their correct implementation
- Detect and promptly inform about potential risks
- Gather information and ensure all documentation is uploaded into the corresponding platforms
- Participate actively in regular meetings to provide status to top management and project reviews
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or related
- 12+ years of experience inside the Automotive Industry with knowledge in production, quality and manufacturing processes (metal parts, steel)
- ** Experience with product/process audits according to international standards (VDA, IATF16949 and/or ISO 9001)**:
- ** Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes evaluation and root cause analysis tools**:
- Good knowledge of quality processes and quality tools
- Good knowledge of measurement techniques, GD&T
- Certified Quality auditor under ISO 19011 or VDA 6.3 (desirable)
- Handling of KPIs and reporting
- Gather of technical information, lessons learnt, concepts and customer requirements
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (lean manufacturing)
- Availability to travel inside Mexico
