Working as a Project Engineer, you will be the responsible for various engineering projects in Electrification Distribution Solutions in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, providing technical details, costs, and deliverables for sales proposals. In this role, you will make technical recommendations in various phases of customer projects to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.

**This position reports to**:
Engineering Manager I

**Your responsibilities**:

- Assisting project managers and project lead engineers in technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors, and vendors
- Assisting contract managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards as well as proposals team on technical questions and production team on the shop floor for the manufacturing of his projects
- Creating and delivering the work plan and budget, as well as risk assessments relevant to your engineering discipline
- Helping customers resolve technical issues both remotely and at customer sites
- Creation of Mechanical Assembly Drawings and Bills of Materials
- Selection of adequate Mechanical Equipment and manufacturing processes.
- Developing your management and communication skills by working with entry-level employees
- Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project

**Your background**:

- +2 years of experience (in design)
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (desirable), Electro-Mechanical/Mechanical-Electrician engineer or similar
- Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools, including Solid works and AutoCAD proficiency, Excel (macros) proficiency and SAP Proficiency
- Deep knowledge of Medium Voltage MCC plus Medium Voltage Switchgear
- A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
- Intermediate-Advanced English Level
