Junior IT Project Manager (Remote, 100% English, Smartsheet Preferred)

Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior IT Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects in a dynamic remote environment. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with foundational project management experience and a strong desire to grow within the IT sector.

**Responsibilities**:

- Project Coordination: Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, to ensure project objectives are met.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate project documentation, including status reports, risk logs, and meeting notes.
- Risk Monitoring: Identify potential project risks and collaborate with senior team members to develop mitigation strategies.
- Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and milestones.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the refinement of project management processes and best practices.

**Required Skills**:

- Project Management Tools: Familiarity with Smartsheet; experience with other tools like Jira is a plus.
- Methodologies: Understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical skills to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
- Collaboration: Team-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving collective goals.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years in IT project management or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Certifications: Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or similar credentials.
- Tools: Experience with Smartsheet for project tracking and reporting.
