The **Group Sales Manager** leads the efforts to solicit, secure, and coordinate group meetings and events, maximizing banquet and meeting spaces to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
- Drive top-line revenue following sales strategies set by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Identify and maximize revenue opportunities for the hotel's event spaces.
- Achieve and exceed individual revenue targets.
- Proactively target and secure new business opportunities from key accounts and market segments.
- Manage and respond to incoming inquiries efficiently (within 4 hours).
- Conduct sales calls, site inspections, client entertainment, and FAM trips.
- Lead the sales process from lead generation to contract signing, and support event execution alongside Convention Services.
- Accurately forecast room blocks and revenues for assigned groups.
- Develop and maintain sales contracts.
- Analyze budgets and contribute to departmental financial goals.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 3 years of progressive sales experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Experience in luxury hotel sales and/or experiential services is a plus.
- Advanced sales and negotiation skills with a high conversion rate.
- Proven ability to identify and secure new business (prospecting, cold-calling).
- Ability to develop and manage client relationships.
- Knowledge of contract management.
- Financial principles: budgeting, P&L, forecasting.
- Problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- High-level presentation and public speaking abilities.
- Ability to influence and close sales opportunities.
