Robertshaw is a global design, engineering and manufacturing company that sells product solutions into the white goods industry. It leverages this portfolio and technology into adjacent markets and after sales channels. Robertshaw manufactures more than 10,000 controls for commercial and home appliances. Some of these include: controls for washers and dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, electric and gas cooking, ice makers, fluid dispensing, storage water heaters, gas valves for space/central heating and automotive/off road temperature and fluid controls.

**Robertshaw is looking for**:

- Region Safety Manager
**Required Experience**:

- 10 + years of progressive experience in increasing EHS&S responsibility within a manufacturing enviroment is required.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, initiate and implement plans from a wider EHS&S strategy utilizing specialized knowledge and technical expertise in principles, practices and implementation.
- Thorough understanding of safety and occupational health regulations is required, including assurance and management systems processes
**Resposibilities**:

- Set policies and strategies on EHS&S across the business in line with overall corporate objectives and the business strategies
- Establish and ensure EHS regional structure has adequate resources and skills sets to execute the vision and strategy
- Lead the Global Safety Council to ensure understand of global trends, operational results, and the recommendation of policies an practices to ensure sustained world class results
- Work with EHS&S leaders of the businesses and key function leaders to identify EHS&S risks and influence outcomes across regional locations
- Ensure compliance with applicable EHS&S law and regulations
- Communicate with senior leadership on issues dealing with compliance, safety, risk management and sustainability
