Gerente Ehs

**General Objective**:
Responsible for controlling activities following the policies and standards established by the company, developing plans and programs, supervising the execution of the technical-administrative processes that make up the area, in order to guarantee the effectiveness and efficiency of operations for the prevention of accidents and/or occupational diseases, as well as to prevent environmental risks in accordance with the provisions and principles issued by the regulatory entities of the matter.

**Responsabilities**:
**Organization, Plan and Control**
- Develop, manage, and implement all EH&S programs. Establish EH&S policies and procedures in coordination with the Director of Operations.
- Collaborate in the development of the training plan of the various areas, in relation to Safety, Health and Environment for compliance with the training required by government agencies.
- Support in the organization and development of strategic activities to raise awareness and promote programs and activities focused on Health, Safety and the Environment.
- Manage compliance with applicable Safety, Health and Environment regulations or any other requirement that NLCD deems appropriate.
- Monitor compliance with the training plan in material of Safety, Health and Environment.
- Monitoring the management of the Committees established for compliance with Occupational Health and Safety verifications is carried out.
- Advise those responsible for accident investigations to determine their causes and verify corrective measures.
- Attend corporate or customer audits that are necessary, as well as attend inspections by the Safety and Hygiene or Environmental authorities.

**Health and Safety**:

- Follow the company's safety rules.
- Wear equipment, protective devices, or clothing that is required, or not required under the company's health and safety law and regulations.
- Immediately report the absence or defect of any protective equipment or clothing to your supervisor.
- Report any illness or injury to your supervisor and medical area.
- Report any contradictions in the health and safety law and company policy.
- Keeps your work area clean and safe and informs your supervisor of any hazards.
- Responsible for investigating work injuries that occur with members of your work team.Compliance with the Safety, Health and Environment Policy.
- **Quality Systems**:

- Ensures compliance with quality standards.
- Ensures compliance and assurance of the Quality policy.

**Academic Requirements**

**Experience/ Technical skills**:

- A Minimum of five (5) years of experience in similar area.
- Basic knowledge of design programs.
- Knowledge of LFT, IMSS Law.
- Knowledge in Health and Safety Regulation and the Environment.
- Knowledge of Ergonomics.
- Experience in Microsoft Office.

**Softskills**:

- Ability to relate to the various levels of the company.
- Strong sense of urgency.
- Problem solution/analytical capacity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Decision making.
- Teamwork.

**Academic requierements**:

- Degree in scientific or engineering background.
- Master degree preferably
