We are looking for a Human Resources professional with a deep understanding of LAC legislation. This Human Resources professional will handle a variety of HR related matters. Our country HR specialists are the heart and soul of our HR team, working with colleagues to provide a positive work environment throughout all stages of their journey with us.
This position will handle and administer a broad range of tasks including: the interpretation of policies and procedures in employee relation matters, coaching and advising leaders and employees on all performance management issues including attendance, conduct and performance; maintaining compliance with policies and applicable employment laws, investigate and assist in the resolution and advancement of employee complaints, allegations, and terminations, as well as the creation, support and facilitation of training on key Employee Relations issues. The position will also require knowledge about compensation & benefits and data analyst criteria.
What You'll Do
Provide advice, support, and consultation on broad ranging employee matters, and guidance around administration and interpretation of policies and employment issues.
Investigate colleague complaints and concerns; obtain relevant documentation and data via interviews; provide advice and take vital steps to resolve on behalf of GBT.
Advise, guide and resolve cases, with an aim to always provide a positive work environment for all colleagues.
Partner with leaders to deliver training on best practice, strategies for handling problems, and responding to colleague grievances.
Support analysis of casework trends, survey results, escalations, and complaints to resolve areas of opportunity to improve work environment and culture
Support end-to-end people processes through developing and maintaining a positive, improve relationship with business leaders and HR colleagues.
- Deliver trainings on performance management, how to have difficult conversations, handling absenteeism and much more
What We're Looking For
Bilingual English - Spanish
Demonstrated ability in HR, with exposure and focus on employee relations. In lieu of experience, you’ll have a degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, or related management filed qualification.
Experience around compensation and benefits, HR trends and metrics. It is a must in a call center environment.
Reporting and analysis in Workday, leveraging data analyst skills for insights and process improvement.
Absolute attention to detail. I’s dotted, T’s crossed; you focus on producing work to the highest standards
You’re a self-starter with a growth mindset. You thrive in fast-paced, engaging environments
Outstanding communication skills. You listen actively, advise kindly, speak with authority when needed, and write clearly and consistently.
**Cool, calm and collected**: you are tactful, quick thinking, and persuasive in sensitive and/or confrontational situations.
Natural intellectual curiosity and a passion for your own learning and development; improving current skills and nurturing new ones to positively impact the work you do, and the people you partner with.
Report creation and data analysis using Excel, including sophisticated functions and visualization tools.
Having an analytical mindset is a requirement in being successful in this role. Knowing how to execute and create presentations with data is equally as important.
