The Worldwide Consulting Centers Global SRE Team, is a part of the Global VMware Professional Services Organization. We are team of an excellent Site Reliability Engineers with expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation. VCF supports both traditional enterprise and modern apps and provides a complete set of highly secure software-defined services for compute, storage, network, security, Kubernetes and cloud management Increase enterprise agility and flexibility with consistent infrastructure and operations across private and public clouds.

In this opportunity of **SRE Engineering Manager **you will be part of WWCC Global SRE Team and play the role of a People Manager & Technical Expert. Guide our Global SRE Team to achieve business goals and manage their career paths. Also help our customers across the globe by advocating and walking an extra mile to provide effective and efficient solutions for their business reliable.

**Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing**
- Lead & Manage WWCC Global SRE Engineering Team
- Design & map Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to achieve organization mission
- Invest & build business relations with key stakeholders & Partners
- Collaborate with SRE Management, Global SRE PMO & Service Management Team
- Bring optimization and effectiveness in process and delivery of work
- Enable team to excel in large enterprise engagement delivery
- Communicate at all levels

**The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?**
- Build career paths for the SRE Engineer Team Members of WWCC Global SRE Team
- Involve in Hiring and Staffing for WWCC Global SRE Team
- Conducting timely performance evaluations & 1:1’s
- Work closely with Global PMO and Service Management Team
- Encourage & Lead Team Continuous Improvement and Innovation at each level
- Collaborate with R&D, Global Support & Partner Organizations
- Plan, Design and Manage Key Performance Indicators to measure & achieve business goals
- Plan and manage team resources to implement integration of extensible services / solutions
- Ensure ethics & compliance at all levels
- Develop and maintain up-to-date, clear, and effective service operations
- Own the VCF Upgrade business delivery
- Work closely with SRE Engineering to improve maintainability and reliability of service offerings
- Own and provide proactive service support by participating in regular business calls
- Cover a 24/7 rotational shift pattern if required
