**Resumen**
**Tareas y responsabilidades**
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct mechanical and metallurgical tests on raw materials and finished products. - Analyze and interpret test results to ensure conformity to standards (ASTM, ASME, ISO). - Perform metallurgical failure investigations using SEM, microscopy, and spectroscopy. - Develop and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports and test certificates. - Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve quality issues. - Participate in audits and support compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. - Support new material qualifications and process validations.
**Estudios / Formación**
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in metallurgical engineering or Materials Science - 2-5 years of experience in a metallurgical or quality engineering role. - Knowledge of materials testing standards (ASTM, ISO, EN). - Hands-on experience with metallography, heat treatment, and NDT methods. - Proficient in quality tools like FMEA, SPC, 8D, and CAPA. - Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
