We are looking for a **Data Engineer** to join our team in Monterrey, preferably working **hybrid (1-2 days in office)**,this role focuses on database migrations, so we are looking for a professional with proven experience in similar projects, skilled in tools such as **Snowflake, Fivetran, Azure Data Factory, Databricks**, and relational databases like **SQL Server**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and execute database migrations, ensuring smooth transitions while minimizing downtime.
- Design efficient and scalable solutions in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Assess and select the most suitable technologies for migration projects.
- Analyze existing databases, identifying optimization opportunities and resolving performance issues.
- Design, implement, and maintain ETL data pipelines, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Build secure and scalable data architectures with a focus on confidentiality and integrity.
- Document technical processes and best practices to support both the team and end-users.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, implementing proactive solutions to avoid bottlenecks.
- Manage implementation projects, including creating work plans, drafting technical proposals, and coordinating follow-up meetings with clients and teams.

**Requirements**:
**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

**Experience**
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a **Data Engineer** (mandatory).
- Demonstrated experience in **database migration projects**.
- Strong expertise in **Snowflake, Fivetran, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and SQL Server**.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and data architectures.

**Preferred Certifications**
- Snowflake certifications.

**Additional Skills**
- Experience with **NoSQL databases**.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools such as **Git**.
- Strong communication skills in **English**, both written and spoken.
- Excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
