ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
Development at Brand is looking for a Development Analyst to join our team

The experienced Development Analyst must be creative and passionate for the entertainment industry talent and trends.

ABOUT YOU:
YOUR DAY-DAY:

- Actively search and analyze the incoming flow of development materials and pitches by reading and providing recommendations for future programs.
- Work alongside the creative executives in current programs by providing coverage of scripts and bibles as needed, as well as participating in creative meetings to take notes and assist with action items.
- Supports the team by gathering creative feedback and creating reports summarizing notes.
- Research and track writers, directors, and actors.
- Receive, archive and track pitch materials as well as creative documents for current programs.
- Contribute to weekly development meetings and internal brainstorms.
- Create development decks/presentations as necessary.

YOU HAVE:

- 3 years of experience as an assistant at a studio or production company working in development, script-reading, and writing coverage experience necessary.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal writing skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Screenwriting, TV Production, Communication, or related field.
- Experience in Microsoft Outlook as well as strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Suite (Dirve, Sheets, etc). Experience with project management software a plus but not required.
- English proficiency
