Job Summary

Job summary:

- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _Power Management Commodity Manager _located in _Guadalajara, North Campus_._
- Reporting to the Commodity Manager Electrical, Power Management Commodity Manager role involves_ _leading the Power Management commodity across all of Flex sites. Communicate and implement strategies, contracts, and pricing to all regions with an overall focus on maintaining good supplier relationships and costs to a minimum to achieve maximum advantage for the company and its customers._

What a typical day looks like:

- _
Establish and manage long term strategic and core supplier relationships and will engage with Flex sites and business segments._
- _
Excellent use of Excel and PowerPoint_
- _
Guide the selection, development and management of Core and Strategic Suppliers to meet commodity costs and performance goals._
- _
Implement programs for supplier selection, supplier performance management and supply base optimization._
- _
Provide Quotation centers with support from core and strategic suppliers to obtain competitive and timely quotes._
- _
Monitor current commodity market conditions, technology roadmaps and identify supply/demand challenges. Develop, implement, and communicate tactical and strategic commodity plans internally and to Flex customers as appropriate._
- _
Collaborate with Customer Supply Chain Managers and Product Introduction centers to coordinate sourcing strategies and ensure a smooth and timely manufacturing ramp on new programs._
- _
Provide access to leading technology, product roadmaps, technology strategies and industry trends._
- _
Provide point of escalation for Commodity issues as appropriate._

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- _
Experience as Commodity Manager in electronics manufacturing industry_
- _
BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience_
- _
Strong experience in Power Management commodities._
- _
Experience working with engineering and other professionals in a cross-functional organization_
- _
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English & Spanish_
- _
Strong negotiation and communication skills_
- _
Supply management experience._
