We are looking for a Java Resource Manager (people-oriented Java developer with past technical experience) to work collaboratively with People Managers, Technical Interviewers, and Staffing Managers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- As a Resource Manager, you will be part of the Engineering Leadership team in EPAM Mexico and support the Java practice development
- Being able to help employees in their professional growth and career development as well as participate in their engagement journey
- You will organize information exchange between employees and units and the entire company
- Monitor the subordinates' work on the projects through communication with Project Managers (from Team Leaders to Account Managers)
- Active mentoring for people in bench to improve or level up the skills and topics required for new opportunities
- Meet organization KPIs
- Get involved in the employee’s promotion

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 7+ years of hands-on software development experience
- 4+ years of people management experience (15+ subordinates)
- Strong Java SE/Java EE skills
- Solid background in object-oriented programming and design
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Good knowledge and understanding of algorithms and design patterns
- Wide knowledge of Spring, JMS, JPA, Maven, Unit testing and continuous build tools (Jenkins/Hudson), Design Patterns, UML, SQL, HTTP, XML, JUnit
- Must be able to provide support for their team
- Fluent English is a must
- Excellent communication and program-solving skills
- Strong people management and organizational development skills
- People-oriented
- Manage groups of up to 15-30 engineers
- Proven experience implementing career plans and development
