Job Summary: The Assurance Manager is a critical role within our Customer Trust Payment Risk team, responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing sophisticated risk management strategies to safeguard our payment ecosystem. This senior-level position requires a deep understanding of financial risk, regulatory compliance, and advanced data analytics to protect both the company and its customers from fraudulent activities and financial losses.

Key job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Risk Management:

- Continuously evaluate and enhance risk models using advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management strategies into product development and business operations.
2. Regulatory Compliance:

- Stay abreast of evolving regulatory landscapes and proactively adapt risk management strategies to meet new requirements.
3. Data Analytics and Reporting:

- Leverage big data technologies to analyze vast amounts of transaction data, identifying patterns and anomalies indicative of potential risks.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights on risk metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
- Utilize predictive modeling and scenario analysis to forecast potential risk exposures and their financial impacts.
5. Stakeholder Management:

- Communicate complex risk concepts and strategies to non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership and board members.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including payment processors, banks, and technology vendors.
6. Innovation and Technology:

- Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies in risk management, such as AI-driven fraud detection and blockchain-based identity verification.
- Spearhead pilot projects to test and implement innovative risk management solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience
- Experience handling confidential information
- Excel prfociency: Advanced
- Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience
- Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials
- Experience with SQL and Excel
