ProducePay is an Agriculture Fin-tech start-up with a focus on farmers who want to grow their business by offering tools that make their business more predictable, transparent, and fair. Our technology gives farmers access to a trading marketplace, while our financing platform gives them access to capital. ProducePay has raised over $300MM+ in funding to help the multi-billion dollar Agriculture Industry. We work with fresh produce growers, distributors, and receivers across the globe.

You will prepare daily and monthly financial reports as needed, participating in analytical projects to help improve our finance operation process. You will be an integral part of our Finance team working alongside the Finance Manager and CFO. This is an exciting opportunity to join an analytical, data-centric team at a fast-growing FinTech company. You will partner with Capital Markets, Risk Management, Portfolio Management, and Marketplace colleagues to help drive insight and develop analysis that benefits ProducePay and its investor base. Most importantly, you will see your insights have an immediate, tangible impact every day in a well-funded and rapidly growing company.

**What you’ll do**:

- Experience with preparing large data sets for analysis
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and create financial statements for ProducePay clients, investor-facing reports, and management-facing reports
- Work with the Engineering team to develop and implement Produce Pay’s platform, data, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Assist with financial audits
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports using proprietary data from the ProducePay platform,
- Knowledge of data mining, cleaning, and analysis
- Set up outbound payments to clients or investors
- Assist with accounting, e.g. conduct bank reconciliations
- Create accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures

**Requirements**:
This role is ideal for someone who is data-oriented, hardworking, enjoys solving problems, and wants to roll up their sleeves and dig into the details. The qualifications we would like you to have include:

- Experience working in statistical software and databases
- Advanced skills in Excel (including macros, etc).
- Experienced in Tableau, SQL, or Python is a plus
- Understanding accounting basics and financial concepts
- A degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar quantitative fields
- Minimum 2 years of work experience
- Fluent in English
- Detailed oriented
