WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a Brand Marketing Global Football Specialist, as part of the Consumer Brand Management function in Marketing.

This position plays an important role in bringing consumer insights to inform during planning processes and strategic decision making while driving execution of the brand plans for engaging our members with O2O initiatives.

Our best brand specialists have a focused angle in Football, have a strong connection with Local & International Football's sport and context: Catalysts, Influencers, Media Partners, Communities, and the culture that surrounds the game. They can bring creative thinking and interest to work in a team with a collaboration dynamic all the time, while taking their role responsibly.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You will contribute to Nike Mexico’s development of brand strategy - focused on Global Football
- implementation and learnings of plans by bringing a strong knowledge of the consumer in the sport scene in Mexico City.

Create and lead brand experiences and narratives through the lens of O2O journeys: building strong consumer relationships connecting seamlessly to digital experiences and sport enablement.

Expand the brand’s closest connection to the consumer: including aspirations, behaviors, interests, functional needs, and values. (Informal research, evaluating and distilling the findings)

Support the development of briefs, consumer journeys, product journeys, strategic marketing plans, brand reporting and recapping process.

Execute and oversee operative tasks related to planning, production, product mapping, and deliveries that will enable timely and effective implementation of the plans.

Assist in the process of managing agency and cross-functional relationships.

Support in the management of staff and daily operations of brand activations.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You’ll be reporting to the Brand Manager Global Football. On daily basis you will maintain a collaborative, highly creative and progressive work style.

Also, you will maintain close relationships with key consumer groups and work closely with Sports Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Brand Creative, Brand Media and other marketing stakeholders to identify industry, city, influencer and sport needs and trends.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in brand and consumer marketing, digital marketing or related functions.
- Passion for Football and the role it can play in Mexico City and the world.
- Deep understanding of the Mexico City sport scene including teams, athletes, influencers and all physical and digital sport dimensions.
- Constant contact and involvement with the consumer (Men, Women & Kids) and the different Football scenes in Mexico City.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Ability to balance creativity and analytical skills with organizational and procedural excellence in a fast-moving environment.
- Self-starter attitude with agile thinking and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Understanding of your role and impact as an individual and team player.
- Thrives in a team environment and proven ability to collaborate and build strong, positive relationships.
- Skills in Excel for inventory management, Keynote presentations, synthetization of information and multitasking
