Resumen de Posición:
Achieve Assembly deadlines in order to achieve OTP Goal (90%), Keep Utilization and Efficiency Records on a Daily basis and Keep all employees safe
Responsabilidades Esenciales:
Ensure that the Assembly, Welding, Painting and Alignment processes run according to schedule to achieve OTP of 90%
Follow Production Plan in order to meet production goals
Make sure all personnel records their productive time in the ERP System (EPICOR)
Keep track of Utilization and Efficiency and make improvements / Generate Savings
Keep ALL employees safe and stop unsafe activities
Requisitos del Puesto:
- Keep the Assembly Process According to Schedule
- Monitor the production processes and keep daily records of all the Pumps / Components being assembled in the area
- Keep a daily updated status of every pump / component being Assembled /Welded /Painted and send the report to production manager at the end of every shift
- Liaise with different departments and teams, e.g. suppliers, managers
- Ensure Assembled / Welded / Painted / Aligned components are completed on time
- Ensure all shop records are kept and archived
- Send the required Assembly records to project managers and quality
- Guide the team of assembly operators and shop floor personnel as needed
- Coordinate with warehouse the issuing of materials to production in advance
- Review of drawings in advance in order to spot any special tool / device / fixture needed
- Put together a physical file of every order which contains: drawings, engineering specs and quality requirements and place it in the designated area
- Understand how basic / final assembly process works, be able to guide personnel by solving doubts
- Understand Welding procedures / Qualifications and be able to solve problems regarding welding using SMAW and GMAW processes
- Understand how paint process works, be able to guide personnel by solving doubts
- Understand how pump equipment / Mechanical seals / mechanical seal plans work
- Be able to manage the personnel according to the company needs
- Be able to make and understand technical drawings
- Be able to take measurements and validate assemblies
- Generate 0 NCRs
- Keep a 6S and lean Culture
- Review all material coming from warehouse according to BOM and take responsibility for it (Sign received)
