**What will your job look like?**:
You will:

- Install, configure, and maintain SQL database servers and processes.
- Monitor system's health and performance to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
- Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and archiving.
- Identify long running SQL queries and optimize them.
- Implement and manage database security (e.g., creating and maintaining users and roles, assigning permissions).
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance tuning and optimization.
- Monitor Deployments to ensure data integrity
- Develop, implement, and maintain database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of databases and their accompanying software.
- Design and implement database schemas, tables, procedures, and permissions.
- Collaborate with developers to optimize SQL queries and database designs.
- Plan and coordinate data migrations between systems.
- Stay current with new database technologies and analyze their potential impact on the organization.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years proven experience as a SQL Database Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge on Azure IAAS SQL server and always on Configuration
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization (PTO).
- Familiarity with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) On Tabular model experience.
- Knowledge of database backup and recovery, database security, and database monitoring tools.
- Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., Azure SQL Database) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate) are a plus.
