THE ROLE: The Senior Manager, Engineering leads a team, focusing on ensuring on-time and accurate delivery of team goals. This role coordinates with other cross-functional teams to ensure delivery.

- Manages a larger (10+) team or multiple teams in Application Development and ensures delivery for multiple segments of work
- You will ensure your team delivers extraordinary output, and continuously seeks ways to make an outsized impact
- You will set direction for the team, anticipate strategic and scaling-related challenges via thoughtful long-term planning
- You will help craft technical and product strategy, defining the charters and organizational structure as the team grow
- Coaches, guides, and provides team mentorship to deliver high quality, accurate, viable, and reliable products
- Works closely with other cross-functional teams to enable team productivity
- You will champion engineering excellence, contributing to the architectural decisions and execution of the solution. Your technical expertise will ensure that our products are built with high quality and user experience in mind.
- Ensures managers and teams follow shared best practices for software development Drive consensus on requirements, ensure timely decision-making, provide guidance, prioritize tasks, and optimize scope and time.
- Supports upper management and other partner teams in decision making, and provide timely and informative status report
- Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: (Share supervisory duties, if applicable)
- Manage up to 10 direct reports

Skills:

- Experience leading, building, and managing teams which deliver reliable products that scale
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and verbal/written communication (with both technical and non-technical audiences)
- Ability to effectively Thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, managing different initiatives evaluating priorities and driving team results with limited guidance
- Ability to be creative and think differently, challenging conventional wisdom, and drive new best practices
- Experience in building highly available large-scale enterprise-wide systems collaborating with technology and product teams.
- Passion for learning, sharing of innovative ideas and creative thinking to provide innovative solutions to challenges.
- Excellent technical skills:

- Experience with major cloud providers such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and Google GCP(preferred)
- Experience in networking, app gateways, CDNs, internal and 3rd party systems, evaluating data integration design, cleansing, data contracts, etc.
- Experience with change management tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, CICD and release management

Experience:

- Overall 10+ years of software engineering with This experience should demonstrate a deep understanding of software development principles, practices, and methodologies and 4+ years leading software engineering teams.

Education:
Required
- Bachelors in computer science or equivalent
