**About the team**:
Beside administration we are part of pilot projects for new technologies as reference for SAP customers. The database team is located in St. Leon-Rot, Dresden, India, and Mexico. Driving continuous improvement is our main focus to increase operation, availability and efficiency. Infrastructure landscape re-architecture and new technology adoption is another important part. Global thinking and a strong customer focus are essential.

**What you'll do**:
As Database Administrator you are responsible for:

- lanning, setup, and implementation of homogeneous/heterogeneous OS/DB migrationD
- B installations, patching and upgrade.P
- roviding technical expertise and support in optimizing and tuning of SystemsO
- rganize / Structure day2day documentation.U
- sage of High availability technologyC
- ontinuous support of SAP systems and problem solving.D
- evelopment of concepts and tools to solve and prevent problems and to increase efficiency.W
- orking in international teams and driving global knowledge transfer and best practicesD
- B performance optimization on expert levelW
- ork with new database technologies like “In Memory” Hana or Sybase ASE/SRS/IQ as part of pilot and first implementations inside of SAPW
- illingness to take on call duty.

**hat we expect from you**:

- atabase knowledge in one (or more preferably) of the following DB platforms: SAP HANA, Sybase ASE, or MSSQLA
- bility to work in a global distributed team, easily developing good working and relationship across our organizationF
- luent English is mandatory.E
- xperience in Support Roles for Incident Management / Problem ManagementS
- trong analytical, problem-solving skills and work customer orientated.P
- rograming skills (Phyton, C++, HTML)

- + years working in one (or more preferably) of the following DB platforms: SAP HANA, SAP ASE, or MSSQL.T
- echnical experience with database solutions within an SAP Environment would be beneficial.M
- SSQL, Sybase ASE and Hana knowledge would be beneficial.W
- ork experience in international teams.
