Title: Data Science Consultant

Skills, expertise, competence
- Understands BY Luminate data model
- Has basic understanding of data quality defects that can cause quality issues to outcomes
- Performs data quality checks, collects and reviews results with more experienced peers
- Has basic understanding of algorithms and architecture in at least one of the Luminate solutions
- Sets up Luminate software stack with limited senior guidance
- Performs model analyses and reviews results with more experienced peers
- Guides team and customer on how to resolve defects and improve data quality. Understands implications on operate.
- Has university degree and relevant coding skills using Python, SQL and the libraries within at least one Luminate solution
- Has relevant knowledge in statistics and ML/AI algorithms, solutions, metrics and KPIs
- Has relevant experience working with Azure blob storage

- Perceived as fast-learner and dedicated to tasks

Customer Interaction
- Presents data and model stories to customers with limited support from senior peers

Primary Focus

Required:

- 5 - 10 years Supply Chain Planning experience especially in supply planning and scheduling, ideally at a BY client or with a consulting firm.
- Knowledge of business processes in SCM
- Analytical/functional skills - Lead business process analysis or design, construction, validation, and deployment phases of the project.
- Strong proactive communicator and presenter, able to influence and collaborate at all levels
- Ability to work independently and be effective/proactive in a relatively unstructured environment
- Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, partners and consultants

Preferred:

- Working knowledge of BY Planning Solutions preferably in BY Demand and/or BY Fulfillment
- Strong retail domain knowledge to understand how the BY solutions within the area of focus can be configured and delivered to better facilitate customer business processes.
- Experienced in implementing advanced planning solutions from either BY, JDA, i2, Manugistics, Kinaxis, o9, SAP APO, Oracle SCM, and/or e2open/Steelwedge
