**EHS Coordinator**

We are looking for an EHS Coordinator to join our dynamic EHS team in Mexico City..

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and Wärtsilä rules and regulations in Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
- Management of the EHS system in Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
- Ensure compliance in external, internal, or legal audits in Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
- Ensure the achievement of KPI and the effectiveness of the actions to prevent deviations from the targets.
- Engage with employees to acknowledge and discuss the submittal of the above reports, and improvement.
- Leadership in EHS improvement.
- Provide adequate support, as needed, to employees, and processes to ensure their health, and safety work and reach EHS KPI.
- Lead investigation and develop corrective and preventive actions for injuries, environmental and safe deviation, and other incidents.
- Strive to continually learn and grow to improve the support your team provides.
- Ability to travel within Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Travel outside those countries may be required, infrequently
- Internal auditor of the management system. Leading the program, planning, following up, and analyzing required audits

**To be successful in this role, we expect you to have**:

- Degree in related EHS or Quality Careers.
- Experience: 4-6 years ‘experience working in the health, safety, and environmental sector for energy industries, manufacturing, or high-risk International Companies.
- Desirable 3 years or more experience in management or implementation in ISO 14k and ISO 45K.
- English Skills: Advance Level (Writing and speaking).
- Ability to travel within Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Travel outside those countries may be required, infrequently.
- Internal auditor in ISO 9001/ ISO 14001 / 45001 is highly desirable.
