We have an immediate opportunity for a EHS Technician to join us at our diverse team.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Conducts daily rounds to identify and ensure that personnel, machinery, and equipment in operation are working safely and under operational controls. In case of deviations, acts immediately and communicates/reports accordingly to the involved areas.
- Validates the inspection, maintenance, and operation of emergency equipment (extinguishers, hydrants, sprinklers, fire pump, etc.).
- Evaluates risks and controls before issuing work permits for contractors.
- Participates in various activities for the implementation, monitoring, and validation of safety, such as LOTO, Machinery Safety, Risk Analysis, etc
- Ensures, maintains, and promotes an EHS culture in all operational areas by conducting rounds and providing feedback to personnel, carrying out awareness campaigns, programs, etc.
- Conducts EHS training for all employees, contractors, and/or visitors to ensure that EHS rules and policies are known and followed, aiming to prevent potential incidents, occupational illnesses, and/or environmental impacts
