Omega GTI is seeking Sales Associate, with proven skills in Electronic Component Sales, with strong interpersonal and communication skills to offer reliable support to the Sales team. Responsible for defining, developing, prospecting, servicing, and nurturing an account base by extracting requirements, creating opportunities, negotiating sales variables, and closing sales orders. We encourage our sales team to take an entrepreneurial approach to their work, believing that every impact can make a difference.

Sales, Marketing and Strategic analysis are important aspects for this position, along with exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to close deals.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain relationships, support and align solutions with customer to maximize profitable growth and customer expansion
- Manage incoming sales opportunities and ensure a follow up process is in place to close each opportunity
- Drive sales through new customer acquisition
- Collaborate with Sales/Purchasing team to ensure orders are complete
- Monitor shortages of parts, obsolescence of parts, and excess inventory
- Update customer records in the company database as required
- Contact customers to offer our existing services, answer basic questions
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related goals as needed

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 2 - 4 years sales experience preferred
- Highly motivated, outgoing, and eager to learn
- Passionate, proactive, and result-driven
- Not afraid of the phone/talking to people
- Knowledgeable in MS Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment
- Quick-thinking, problem-solving, and issue management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with interpersonal skills

**Compensation**

Salary + Monthly Commission and Yearly Bonus

Salary varies based on experience
