**About the Team**
At Nutanix, the Developer Productivity Network Operations team is a global team across multiple countries and supports Developer Productivity within the Engineering Organization. Our team culture thrives on determination and mutual respect, fostering an environment where innovative ideas are welcomed and collaboration is key. Each member is dedicated to not just their own growth, but also to empowering one another, creating a cohesive team atmosphere that drives our success.
You will report to the Senior Network Operations Manager, who is committed to supporting your professional development and ensuring that you have the resources needed to excel in your role.
**Your Role**
- Enhance datacenter observability for engineering hardware and infrastructure.
- Manage capacity planning and ensure proactive hardware asset management.
- Streamline operational functions by integrating datacenter and network operations.
- Collaborate with IT and Engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Establish metrics to measure efficiency and operational success.
- Maintain and update documentation for processes and policies.
- Foster a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Develop skilled communication and relationship-building with cross-functional teams.
**What You Will Bring**
- Understanding of datacenter operations, network infrastructure, and service availability.
- Understanding of capacity management and hardware asset management.
- Experience with change management best practices and fundamentals.
- Experience with operational efficiency and process improvement methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as Engineering and IT.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field recommended.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and best practices in observability.
**Work Arrangement**
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
