Summary
Manage operating systems, inspection operations, and continuous improvement projects. Promotes a disciplined operating culture and develops improvement strategies to support business objectives. Work transversally to plan, execute and maintain improvements in business processes.
Key responsibilities and main activities:
- Demonstrate teamwork, collaboration with others to improve global standards of performance and service.
- Provide good service to the internal and external customer.
- Ensure that all policies, procedures, and instructions are properly implemented.
- Coordinates Production Planning.
- In charge of the Continuous Improvement system of its Business Unit.
- It ensures that production processes are carried out under controlled conditions.
- Define and identify the training needs of their subordinates.
- Coordinate the events KAIZEN, rapid changes, 5S, KANBAN, 6 SIGMA projects.
- Establish review and provide reports to Management on the behavior of the metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis, covering the progress of the measures towards the established goals of the company.
- Adhere to the company's policies in the practice of its activities (including goals and objectives)
- Demonstrate teamwork, collaboration with others to improve global standards of performance and service.
- Provide good service to the internal and external customer.
- Coordinate, advise and support their work team.
- Maintain good relations and communication with the other departments.
- Maintain respect and good treatment of people by the entire team and continuously improve the work environment.
Experience/Skills
- A bachelor's degree in engineering Administration is required. / industrial or to end.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position is required
- Experience in operations management.
- Knowledge/experience in the supply chain.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949
- Knowledge of the QMS.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing.
Verbal skills
- Proficiency in English: both written and spoken.
- You must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues throughout the organization.
- Ability to generate reports and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees, and customers.
Math Skills
- Mathematical skills for efficiency calculations, consumption, response times, capacity, cycle times, financial calculation, etc.
- Mathematical skills for problem solving and information analysis.
Reasoning ability
- Deductive reasoning capacity.
- This position requires the ability to organize thoughts and priorities under considerable pressure.
- Must be able to reason and solve problems based on technical understanding of needs and procedures.
- Ability to define problems and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions and address both abstract and concrete variables.
Computer skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
