Data Modeler

4+ years of data modeling experience supporting enterprise data solutions and integrations and design documentation for Production.

4+ years of experience with Data Modeling in finance and/or commercial and/or supply chains and/or Sales & Customer analytics.

3+ years of experience in Data Transformation/ETL tools and technologies, and related
concepts such as data catalogs.

2+ years of experience in Azure Synapse object support

Must be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing.

Expected and/or from advantage are capabilities, knowledge and expertise such as:

- Familiar with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
- Experience determining security procedures for system databases and central data stores to

maintain the viability of and access to data based on organizational needs.
- Familiar with Data Warehousing, ETL principles, BI semantic modeling, and BI report

development.
- Deep knowledge of Kimball and Inmon approaches and the core differences.
- Experience in data modeling principles/methods including conceptual, logical & physical Data

Models.
- Experience in translating/mapping relational data models into Data Base Schemas.
- Experience with modeling tools (such as Lucidcharts, Capture technical metadata through data

modeling tools).
- Knowledge of RDBMS (e.g. SQL Server, DB2) and cloud data platforms with experience in

generating DDL.
- Ability to translate a logical model into a physical model, adding appropriate physical objects

needed to create the database e.g. indexes.
- Experience maintaining a model repository.
- Ability to synchronize models to ensure that database structures match models
- Familiar with metadata ingestion and translation.
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, communicating in a technical

and non-technical manner with business customers.
- Ability to work effectively with associates at all levels within the organization.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Analytical skills, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools in addition to BI tools such as Power

BI is highly preferred.
- BS in Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
