**Regulatory & Scientific Affairs Jr Manager**

Main mission as a **RSA Manager for Nestlé Mexico **is to ensure functional leadership both internally and externally on specific regulatory topics through the development of Group’s positions and policies. You will also represent Nestlé in influencing activities with national authorities under the scope of the products of Nestlé Health Science.

**A Day in the life of a Regulatory & Scientific Affairs Manager for NHS**:

- Analyze complex regulatory frame and conceptualize regulatory opportunities for new product development at early stages of I&R.
- Lead strategic engagement with authorities at national supranational and international level by sharing credible scientific arguments; discuss on a regular basis within critical external environments and negotiate with external stakeholders; lead relevant discussions at Advocacy committee.
- Develop and maintain a solid global knowledge of food supplements; Enteral Feeding Formulae & Drugs regulations and share knowledge with RSA colleagues and other relevant functions. Ensure implementation of changes at local level, as needed.
- Contribute directly to business growth by defining a regulatory strategy and a roadmap for the NHS organization: ensure regulatory developments are followed for all categories and markets at local level, and regulatory risks are assessed, communicated internally and mitigated early enough to ensure product compliance and support business growth.
- Manage resources across the functions to ensure credible science based regulatory position to shape up a fair external regulatory framework. Networking always with internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent Nestlé at external industrial working groups relevant to key activities of the functions.

**What will make you successful**:

- At least 7 years’ experience in a regulatory & scientific environment for food supplement, Enteral Feeding Formulae & Drugs regulations.
- Degree in food science/life science required.
- High understanding of Mexican regulation for food supplement, Enteral Feeding Formulae & Drugs regulations.
- Broad and global regulatory knowledge gained within the R&D businesses & markets.
- Successfully influenced external authorities on a key topic
- Exposure to media issue by position paper and Q&A preparation
- Successfully lead the regulatory activities in a new product launch - including I&R
- Highly developed diplomatic and engagement skills to represent the company as Ambassador.
- Fluent in English
