We are currently seeking an experienced Staff Accountant at our Chihuahua, Mexico location to work at our corporate department.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

- Maintain Capital & Fixed Assets Globally.
- Coordinate the month end close, including Intercompany balancing.
- Assist with account reconciliations.
- Assist with the preparation and analysis of monthly Financial Statements.
- Work with centralized receivables and payables team to troubleshoot outstanding items.
- Assist with preparation and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Demonstrate teamwork by collaborating with multiple levels of Finance and organizational personnel to improve overall standards of performance and service.
- Provide good customer service to all customers, both internal and external.
- Complete additional duties, special projects and participate on teams as assigned.
- Adhere to established safety policies, procedures, and practices.
- Support the organization’s goals and values.

Education/Experience/Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or related field; equivalent education and/or experience considered.
- Prior experience with a global public manufacturing organization having multi-site responsibility is a plus.
- 3 years of progressive experience in accounting and/or finance, including:

- Hands-On Month End Close accountability
- Strong financial acumen, demonstrated analytical ability, and knowledge of corporate finance as well as manufacturing accounting
- Documenting account reconciliations and assisted in the internal and external audits
- Understanding of P&L and balance sheet dynamics
- Must have high level organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team player able to work well in a group and take direction, as well as an individual contributor able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively manage and complete assigned tasks and timely communication of results to the US Corporate team.
- Desire to be part of a growth business and operate in an ever-changing environment.
- Ability to travel as needed.

Language Skills:

- Fluent English-speaker.
- Excellent written and verbal/interpersonal communication skills

Reasoning Ability:

- Ability to think both analytically and creatively.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Ability to present numerical data effectively and accurately.

Computer Skills:

- Fluent with MS Office including advanced Excel skills.
