The intern is responsible for supporting media relations and Key Opinion Leaders Management in Mexico to secure full deployment of SAP Mexico’s External Comms Strategy. This person develops messages, corporate content and interacts with internal stakeholders to position SAP as the technological partner of choice. In this role the intern manages the advocacy calendar to position of SAP Mexico’s C-Levels, Business Leaders, and experts, working closely with the agency and internal leaders to identify priorities and opportunities to position them externally. While working directly with customers and media, the person participates in communication initiatives and creates public references to be used in media. They also understand Mexican media environment and the public conversation to proactively assess opportunities for SAP’s positioning among decision makers through diverse set of tactics: owned curated content, speaking opportunities, third party events and sponsored events. They deliverables include Media Clippings, Touched Pipeline and Customer Stories in press.

Activities:

- Support and execute the media relations plan to promote and position SAP as a leader in its industry in Mexico.
- Produce and review content for SAP Spokespersons
- Ensure consistency in brand positioning and message handling
- Assist SAP’s spokespersons to improve reputation and execute media relations strategy locally
- Support the GCA Mexico Head in managing relationships with key stakeholders
- Work with the LAC Media Relations Team and agencies to develop press releasees, speeches, key messages, executive briefing books, and any other material designed to persuade, inspire, educate and inform external audiences
- Clear understanding of the company's business priorities to communicate them and contribute to SAP Mexico positioning under those narratives
- Interact with LAC and Global GCA team to secure alignment and take advantage of global/regional opportunities to strengthen SAP Mexico’s relationship with media
- Secure and track predefined Metrics and KPIs for GCA Mexico
