- Perform Maturity Evaluation of Project BOM at several milestones of project lifetime.
- Provide Technical supplier coaching and establish workshops for Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Cost (DFC) & Early Supplier Involvement (ESI).
- Ensure proper alignment with engineering in the project about DFM & DFC.
- Technical supplier coaching and design for manufacture systematic problem solving.
- Develop and define robust component and manufacturing processes, including key parameter freeze in collaboration with global supply base.
- Establish that supply base is set up, to provide capable metrology / testing systems, to measure and evaluate key product requirements, dimensional, leak, material and cleanliness.
- Support Purchasing with Cost Value Analysis (CVA) value stream mapping analysis & Technology Gaps closure.
- Ensure supplied component development timing is in line with customer requirements, product validation timing. Drive escalation and problem resolution in case of deviations.
- Track APQP Activities performed at supplier by supplier quality management
- Report on Project Status, Milestones and Hurdles to internal and external customers
- Document and drive problem solving activities in case of deviations
- One of more of following technologies preferred: Tooling, Casting, Machining, Molding, Stamping, Deep DRW.
- Basic know how in GT&D.
- Basic Know how or previous experience in either Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality Management in automotive business
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP Process according to AIAG and IATF
- Cooperate with internal supplier management organization (Purchasing, Supplier Quality Management, Supply Chain Management) to achieve project goals: quality, timing, price
- Prepare regular reporting for internal and external customers to document progress status at different project milestones for APQP and component release process, escalation management, problem solving activities.

Job requirements:

- University education (Bachelor, Masters) in Chemistry, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, Process Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years Technical Experience - Specialized technical knowledge.
- Assertiveness, strong communicator and team orientated.
- High level of individual responsibility, drive and target orientation.
- Solution oriented, able to work under pressure to understand different individual interests and to harmonize to find holistic solutions to problems
- Prior knowledge in one of the following field is an advantage: Process engineering experience in IC-Substrate, HDI-PCB, Assembly, IC-Packaging or related industry.
- Working experience as process engineer/ process development in semiconductor or PCB industry be preferred.
- Long Term experience in Automotive product and functions.
- Basic knowledge preferable of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles, sub systems and products.
- International competence and mindset - willingness to travel for extended duration/s, average 50%location; travel at supplier factories.
- Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken).
