Inventory Control Supervisor

Main Activities: - Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity. - Support the organization to maintain product identification and locations. - Responsible for completing physical inventories/cycle counts. - Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner. - Support stockrooms to ensure materials are in proper locations. Conduct searches in order to locate misclassified inventory. - Perform thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources to identify root causes in order to resolve discrepancies and reconcile inventory. - Must be detailed oriented. - Build self-sustaining safety and 5S cultures. Ensure team members are following all safety and 5S standards. - Lead, support, and encourage participation in safety, 5S, and culture teams. - Monitor teams, reports, metrics, and KPIs to ensure daily performance as well as identify gaps and opportunities. - Lead and support Kaizen, root causes, value stream mapping, process audits, and other continuous improvement activities. Collaborate with other groups where those activities intersect with your teams.
Experiência y requisitos
Qualifications: - B.S. in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, International Business, or related field. - +5 years of experience in similar position in a manufacturing environment. - Ability to manage multiple projects at one time in an efficient and timely manner. - Strong working knowledge and experience in MS Office, well versed in Microsoft Excel. - Experience in the use of MRP and ERP systems (Oracle is desirable). - Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. - Must be accurate, detail oriented, problem-solving and have good organization skills. - Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory role.
