For a Manufacturing company based in Cd Juárez, we are looking for:
**Materials Manager**

**Summary**
Manage current suppliers and find new suppliers, as well as negotiation of prices and terms, and make agreements or contracts for purchases. Also handle the day-to-day interactions with suppliers ensuring purchase orders are ordered on time and expedited when necessary. The Materials Manager should have the ability to manage the flow of data and perform analysis on product trends.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the suppliers within the given programs (Request for Quote RFQ, Supplier Score Cards, Engineering changes, etc.).
- Actively drive costs down by continually benchmarking existing and staying apprised on market conditions, economic and industry situations as they affect the purchase of materials.
- Participate in planning and improvement activities in the Purchasing Department.

**Profile**
- +5 years of purchasing experience in the manufacturing environment.
- +3 years’ experience with wood purchasing
- Experience in plant startups and/or expansions
- Knowledge of Epicor.
- APICS or equivalent certification.
- College degree in Supply Chain or Business.
- Advanced English
- Availability to travel
- Visa
