Job Summary

Position Summary

To support our extraordinary teams that build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking for a Quality Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Quality Engineer, the Quality Engineer role involves Maintaining quality engineering programs, standards, and improvements within the organization.

What a typical day looks like:

- Approves product, process, and equipment qualifications.
- Develops and initiates inspection, testing and evaluation standards and methods.
- Develops sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
- Develops and applies methods and procedures for the removal of discrepant material and devises methods for assessing cost and accountability.
- Directs workers responsible for measuring and testing product and tabulating data relating to materials, product or process quality and reliability.
- Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.
- Ensures the availability and integrity of all quality related data. Consolidates and reports quality results.
- Responsible for the development, implementation, review, and maintenance of quality standards for the transformation of materials into partially finished products.
- Designs and applies methods and procedures to inspect, test and evaluate the accuracy and precision of products and/or production equipment.
- Analyzes reports and returned products and recommends corrective action.
- Internal communication with various work areas
- Direct communication with the customer

Experience we are looking for to join our team:

- Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with KPIs (Quality)
- Knowledge of quality tools (8Ds, 5 Whys, Pareto Diagram etc.)
- Experience with engineering changes
- Experience with NPI
- Familiar with FMEA and control plan.
- Good command of Minitab (DOE and SPC)
- Statistical Process Control (CP and CPK)
- Advanced English
