**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor piping and welding processes and inspect finished products to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry quality standards
- Collaborate with construction and engineering professionals to identify potential quality issues and develop solutions
- Review and approve quality control documents including inspection and test plans, material certifications, and weld maps
- Perform visual weld inspections and interpret radiographic films to verify weld quality
- Monitor non-conformance items and provide guidance on corrective actions
- Conduct pre-operational inspections of piping systems and equipment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in piping and welding inspection on construction projects
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards such as ASME and AWS
- Experience with various types of welding, including SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW
- Familiarity with welding inspection tools such as micrometers, ultrasonic gauges, and calipers
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with project stakeholders
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- NDT certifications such as MT, PT, and UT preferred
