The Visual Designer is responsible of how a product or experience looks and masters the design principles and color theory to communicate a message or achieve a goal, always with the brand's guidelines in mind.

They make “tangible” the user experience strategy and shapes it to inspire the users or engage them to use a product. Knows the best way to use the design components in the layout of each platform or interface, whether mobile, web, ATMs or other digital channels.

Main responsibilities:

- Create visually attractive products or interfaces based on the brand's design system using the design system components in the best way possible.
- Design and build new components to expand the design system and make it suitable for our Mexican users.
- Master the principles of design, colour theory, typographic and image use.
- Local lead of the visual design of our platforms’ new features or digital assets, also improve the existing ones.
- Perform interface design proposals for our platforms through the various channels.
- Master the use of brand identity and guidelines to build visually consistent interfaces across different channels or platforms.
- Ability to explain how the visual design of a product is aligned with the user research findings and the user experience strategy.
- Build high quality prototypes for user testing and improve them to achieve the research goals.
- Stay up to date on visual design, interaction trends, best practices, and new digital features.
- Identify needs, opportunities, or improvements of digital assets.
- Promote the understanding of the user experience strategy within the needs of our clients to improve or create digital assets as well as experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design or equivalent.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- +3 years as Visual Designer, Web Designer, Interaction Designer, Art Director or similar.
- Proven experience designing stunning interfaces with design principles, interaction, colour, iconography, grids, layouts, and typography.
- Experience creating design systems and toolkits for mobile and web platforms right from the start.
- Understanding of atomic design, responsive interfaces, material design, accessibility principles and branding.
- Strong experience with design, illustration, and image edition software, also prototyping tools.
- Ability to work with UX Content Designers and Developers.
- General knowledge of product design and development processes.
- Deep understanding of design principles, Agile methodologies, and design thinking.
- Have an awesome portfolio showing the platforms, interfaces and digital assets designed.
- Experience in following brand guidelines and
