We are currently seeking a **Tools Architect** for our **Shared Service Center** in San Nicolas De Los Garza, Nuevo Leon.

**Responsibilities**
- Configuration, maintenance, and administration of Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira Service Desk)
- Evaluate and manage the usage of Atlassian add-ons to meet team and business needs
- Work with development and design teams to identify procedural efficiencies, such as with Jira Workflows, custom fields, etc.
- Devise, test, and deploy integration's between Atlassian products and other internal tool chains
- Conduct training for employees and new hires on JIRA and also briefing the team/s on new functionalities.
- Research and implement new approaches on Jira and Confluence usage
- Prompt issue resolution with JIRA Projects and Confluence in coordination with other admins, partner teams and Atlassian premier support
- Capable to administer Jira global permission Scheme under JIRA Server, Data Center, Cloud Space
- Well experienced in creating the ‘Project Permissions and role based - security/Access requirements’ -Global, Project Based and Issue Security
- Ability to manage Sprint permissions is a ‘MUST’ - Create, Edit, Re-Order, Delete, Complete
- Capability to define system board configurations in support of both SCRUM and Kanban board
- Able to support project admin permissions for Backlog versions
- Design and Manage the build and tools architecture that is robust and scalable for Electronics Tools related projects. This includes modeling, software tools, build tools and automated generation of software artifacts to support the Tools infrastructure
- Establish standards and approach for the global Electronics Tools environment
- Lead team(s) in implementing solutions that are compliant with the build and tools environment approach
- Develop and enhance Jira workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, customized pages for company-wide use
- Demonstrated experience in/with SQL Additional Qualifications
- Knowledge of Jira system components and proven troubleshooting methodology
- Deep knowledge of Script Runner: writing and debugging scripts
- Work with various Business Units to train and support in resolving build environment conflicts/struggles
- Identify and lead the software development automation strategy for the software DEV environment
- Responsible for tools selection/development, deployment, and certification
- Manage change requests in the Jira system and with the architecture community to implement changes into actions
- Support internal and external Tools related quality initiatives

**Preferred Skills**
- A minimum of 8 years’ experience administrating Atlassian products (Jira, Big Picture, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira Service Desk)
- Strong knowledge and familiarity with JQL
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of both Scrum and Kanban methodologies
- Experience extending Atlassian products via code development is preferable
- Experience directly integrating Atlassian products with other systems is preferable
- Knowledge of script runner is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Software engineering, Computer engineering (or foreign equivalent)
- Master’s degree strongly preferred
- Software development experience of at least 7 years. Automotive and embedded experience preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience using programming languages such as HTML, VB, C/C++, Python, Pearl, or Java
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with tools such as SVN, DOORS, EA etc.
- Demonstrates interpersonal skills to work independently and collaboratively with others
- Experience with Agile development/management techniques is a plus
- Knowledge of SW Quality processes (e.g. ASPiCE) is s plus
- Excellent written, presentation, and mentoring skills
