**Position Summary**:
**Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities**:

- Hands-on development across entire.NET,.NET Core Azure technical stacks, includes but not limited to front-end, middle tier and back end development on C#, MVC,.Net 4.6, ASP.net (Web Services), WebAPI REST, Azure, OData, etc.
- Ability to design and build REST web services on the.NET platform using JSON
- Strong experience utilizing relational databases, e.g. Azure SQL, SQL Server, and Oracle
- Follows a disciplined Agile/Scrum software development process in task estimation, design, development, code reviews, unit/integration testing and defect fixing of products
- Documents new/modified code
- Analyzes existing software to debug and troubleshoot escalated issues that may arise
- Identifies and recommends software development process improvement initiatives
- Assists in the technical analysis of potential tools and commercial products.

**Knowledge and Skills Required**:

- Knowledge of Python scrips
- Database design and development experience using Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience designing and building REST web services on.Net
- Proven analytical abilities applied to system design and software implementation
- Experience utilizing JIRA Agile tools and working in an Agile environment.
- Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment

**Education, Training, Professional Certification and Work Experience**:

- 5+ years’ experience as a developer with Microsoft technologies in a complex, multi-platform distributed environment
- 5+ years experience with.NET/C# development and the technology stack, e.g., C#,.NET Core, REST API, WebAPI and MVC
- 3+ years’ experience utilizing relational databases, SQL.
- 3+ years experience programming in Python
- 3+ years experience with JSON
- 2+ years experience with Azure platform leveraging Azure IaaS and Azure DevOps
