Compute Financial Planning & Analyst

This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

**_ Management Level Definition:_**

The role of the Compute FP&A team is to report, analyze, plan and forecast Compute’s Profit & Loss (P&L) statement; track the key performance metrics of the business to drive actions; and manage corporate-driven planning and performance review processes for Compute like Flash, Daily estimates during Quarter-End Close (FDE), Story Behind the Numbers (SBTN), Financial Performance Review (FPR) and Long Term Plan (LTP).

**_ How you will make your mark: _**
- Provides complex, financial analysis for the Compute business.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making.
- Provides analytics to business initiatives.
- Supports policy and process improvement and identifies opportunities.
- Identifies issues and proposes solutions.
- Represents finance on cross
- functional teams.

**_ About you:_**
- First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred.
- Typically 4+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
- Typically experienced in more than one finance function.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Good business acumen.
