Data Analyst in Marketing

We are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to join our Digital Technology and Analytics team to help us understand our data, quantify our efforts, and provide insights that drive business decisions. In this high-visibility role as a Marketing Data Analyst, you will play a crucial part in Aptiv's strategic initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Vice Presidents (VPs) and team leaders across the marketing department to enhance our account-based marketing efforts, a critical strategic initiative for Aptiv.

**Your Role**

At Aptiv, we are dedicated to developing innovative solutions that make transportation safer, greener, and more connected. Your day to day will consist of the following:

- Design & creation of dashboards, reports, and presentations in collaboration with the wider team to communicate key insights in a meaningful way to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Working within a cross-functional team to bring to life a next-generation marketing data platform.
- Supporting our ambitious plans to increase the use of signals and behavioural data to build dynamic audiences to deliver elevated customer experiences.
- Working closely with account-based marketing, marketing automation, and content teams to ensure team members are provided with the data and insights they need to monitor and improve their various marketing initiatives.
- Developing post-campaign analysis on digital marketing efforts to help quantify the impact of marketing campaigns and other major initiatives.
- Analyzing data to identify trends and patterns, and proactively deliver insights and recommendations to improve marketing strategy
- Working collaboratively with our Data Specialist and Engineers to ensure data needed for reporting and analysis is accurate, available, and fit for use.
- Continuously evaluating data quality, identifying data gaps, and recommending solutions to improve data accuracy and completeness.
- Developing strong working relationships with key partners across the business to bolster trust in any insights shared.
- Effectively communicating status of projects both verbally and in writing to management

**Requirements**:
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role include:

- **3 years prior professional experience in data analysis or related role**:

- **2+ years of corporate experience in Marketing, sales, or commercial-related field**:

- **Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field**:

- Proficient in English speaking/reading/writing
- Demonstrable experience of historical success with data analysis, and deriving actionable insights from data
- Experience in the development of reporting dashboards and tagging strategies across digital marketing platforms and campaigns
- Experience with data tools & techniques such as Excel proficiency (formulas, VLOOKUP’s, Pivot tables), SQL, Looker, Tableau, or similar
- Initiative-taker with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task.
