RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide expert consultation on complex projects, demonstrating a deep understanding of complex code and machine learning concepts
- Contribute directly to code development and actively mentor junior developers in best practices for machine development, deployment, and monitoring
- Collaborate with other teams to design, model, and optimize data pipelines for efficient model training and inference

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development and deployment
- 1+ years of experience in prompt engineering
- Proven track record of leading development teams and delivering successful projects

NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in the mortgage sector
- Ability to design complete end-to-end systems from scratch
- Mastery of AWS, Git versioning software, and mastery of Python
- Full-stack development capabilities

TECHNOLOGIES
- Extensive experience with Python and strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills
- Deep understanding of machine learning methodologies, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning. Proficiency with Python machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, numpy, pandas, nltk)
- Significant experience with the AWS stack, including serverless architecture and cloud-based data warehousing solutions (e.g., Redshift)
- Experience with NoSQL databases and data manipulation techniques
- Experience with tools and practices for managing the machine learning lifecycle, including model versioning, deployment, monitoring, and retraining
