Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a high performing leader (preferably in Materials Supervision) with evidence of growing responsibilities
- Understanding of LEAN concepts
- 5+ years of direct supervision
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook as well as SAP or Oracle
- Experience supervising teams of at least 10 Team Members
- Experience using Kanban with an understanding of Just-in-Time
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Demonstrated knowledge and competence in concepts, principles, and standard practices in Supply Chain Management, Material Handling, Inventory Control and Lean Manufacturing
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills
- Sufficient human relations skills to conduct one-on-one training, resolve conflict, and achieve harmony with a large group of Team Members. Sufficient problem-solving skills to troubleshoot situations such as labor and material shortages, plant safety, tool and equipment problems, while maintaining productivity
- A working knowledge of production planning and production methods
- Ability to set objectives and manage/influence those factors involved with meeting these objectives
- Strong team building and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working in a high energy, fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- SIOP strategical definition with internal team and keep the production scheduled aligned accordingly
- Add solutions over supply chain constraints over complex global environment to ensure production continuity
- Define and improve main strategy and budget for operative and preventive opportunities identified to keep efficiency and cost objectives
