Capgemini Engineering is looking for a **Junior Program Manager (automotive industry)**

**Skills and experience**
- Good conversational **English**:

- **1-2 years of work experience**:

- Experience in the **automotive industry. **Desirable experience in systems related to Driveline: Automatic or manual transmission, differential, RDM, PTU, torque converters, axles & shafts.
- Strong experience in **finance**, cross-cultural awareness, **leadership**, **communication**, influence, **negotiation**, and **conflict resolution**.
- Ability to build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain **communication with customers** at multiple levels, including those external to the organization
- Experience in **defining problems clearly**, connect what seems disconnected

**About role and responsibilities**

The program manager should serve as the reference for the team as the first step for approvals. They must have a general understanding of the functioning of different component groups and how they interact with other systems and how they are affected during workload.
- Oversees high-level program(s) that can be very complex.
- Takes project(s) from original concept through final implementation.
- Leads, instructs, directs, assigns, and checks the work of team members
- Required to assign project managers to manage cost, schedule, and performance of component projects, while working to ensure ultimate success and acceptance of the program
- Must ensure continuous alignment of scope and strategic business objective, and make recommendations to modify the program to enhance effectiveness toward business result and strategic intent
- Determine and coordinate the sharing of resources among project constituents to benefit the overall success of the program, while building credibility, establishing rapport, and maintaining communication at all levels
- Demonstrate expertise in a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- Tracking KPIs
- Ensuring quality, cost, and time objectives are met and following up on them
- Reporting and milestone planning
- Defining the product launch pace
- Ensuring that cost and return on investment actions have been identified and implemented correctly or as needed.
