Supply Inventory Management Professional

Sensata Technologies is looking for a Supply Inventory Management Professional who will be responsible for the development and assessment of demand forecasts on designated product / program categories. In this position you will work with multiple internal departments as well as external vendors on countless analyses to determine the needed products and quantities for certain products / programs.

General Responsibilities
- Leads in the creation of future capacity plans
- Handles any communication with marketing, manufacturing and customer service to ensure accuracy and efficiency of message
- Leads in defining an integrated supply chain to produce sustained, timely performance on all accounts
- Leads in the measuring and monitoring of specific product / program categories
- Leads in creating a demand plan that will be used throughout the company in regards to supply planning
- Leads in in-depth analysis with large amounts of data to run various statistics and analyses on the company to help future predictability of demand planning

Experience / Qualifications
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Additional Job Description
- Strategic Alignment:

- Translate long-term business goals into clear tactical and operational plans impacting inventory and supply management.
- Design effective processes to convert business strategies into accurate demand signals for operational sites.
- Sales, Inventory, and Operations Plan (SIOP) Planning:

- Develop and manage monthly SIOP plans integrating projected demand, operational capacity, and financial goals.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to incorporate market trends and commercial forecasts into planning.
- Demand Signal Management:

- Oversee the generation and communication of accurate demand signals using advanced tools and Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Validate that planned volumes align with site capabilities and business priorities.
- Inventory and Supply Management:

- Ensure optimal inventory levels across the supply chain, balancing cost efficiency and customer service.
- Monitor lead times and availability of critical materials to prevent operational disruptions.
- Process Optimization:

- Identify gaps between planning and execution, proposing innovative solutions to ensure alignment.
- Implement technological tools and methodologies to enhance information flow across departments.
- Collaboration and Leadership:

- Coordinate Supply Review meetings with key areas (sales, operations, finance, and logistics) to align priorities and objectives.
- Serve as a functional leader for supply chain initiatives and change management efforts.
