**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for day-to-day customer care and administration of cloud services.
- Cloud platforms administration.
- Kubernetes administration.
- Work within a global support team covering 24x7x365 cloud operations (On-call).
- Able to write effective handoff from shift-to-shift for cloud support issues.
- Provide expertise in one or many of the following cloud platforms: AWS, Azure.
- Coordinate with other teams to handoff build guidance to complete orders where managed service support is request.
- Coordinate with other services teams where cloud specific issues are escalated.
- Responsible for general health and maintenance of cloud service offerings.
- Provide advice and information to customers and colleagues regarding Amazon Web Services and general cloud infrastructure as service offerings and best practices.
- Produce written designs and documentation regarding proposed or actual cloud deployments.
- Keep apprised of new Amazon Web Services and general cloud offerings.
- Cloud Monitoring.
- Development of workflows and processes.
- Ensure the security and regulatory compliances (GDPR, PCI by example) for Cloud Ecosystem.
- Participate in Project Planning and Review meetings.
- Gather and report Cloud Apps performance and health, using performance indicators (KPI).
- Verify that Semtech’s Cloud Ecosystem environments meet industry standard vulnerability benchmarks.
- Champion early adoption of change initiatives.
- Build collaborative relationships with team members and lead by example.
- Work across the organization to solve new and existing technical issues.

**SKILLS**
- 3+ years of prior relevant experience on Cloud Support Engineer
- A working knowledge of quality assurance and agile development methodologies.
- Proven Experience in supporting SaaS products and AWS platform.
- Deep knowledge of ITIL processes.
- Experience supporting AWS Cloud systems.
- Knowledge of DevOps best practices.
- Experience with Windows and Linux system administration.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes administration.
- Experience in Source Control Management (SCM).
