**What does a great UX Research Intern do?**

The UX Research Intern supports the design team in gathering end user insights through primary and secondary research methods:

- Primary research is original research including interviews, surveys, airport observation, etc.
- Secondary research is derived from other sources, such as analyzing what other airlines and travel companies are doing on mobile, performing benchmarking and competitive analysis exercises, etc.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Provides support to researchers in planning, designing, and conducting research
- Effectively undertakes associated tasks such as participant recruitment and scheduling, producing test materials, setting up test environments and helping analyzing findings and prepare documentation and presentation material
- Works to agreed timelines, with support on prioritization
- Follows methodologies, techniques and tools used by the research team
- Develop an organized working manner

- Researchers need to be good communicators and have good interpersonal skills
- Must have excellent English, written and spoken
- Curiosity and a keen interest in learning is essential
- Excellent organizational skills - a lot of research activity is planning
- Capable of managing multiple tasks as research exercises often overlap with one another
- Good attention to detail
