**Description**

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Installation, implementation, upgrading, performance, security, patching, and monitoring of WebSphere Application Server environments.
- Developing WebSphere Application Server Clustering for High Availability
- Configuring and managing IBM HTTP Server from WebSphere Application Server
- Fulfilling requests for access and system logs.
- Monitoring, tracking, trending, analysis, and tuning of the WebSphere environments
- Troubleshooting issues and providing L3 support for WebSphere Application Server
- Testing and implementing upgrades and patches.
- Securing WebSphere Application Server environments according to the latest best practices.
- Planning and performing QA audits.
- Configuring and testing production environments.
- Documenting servers’ architecture and installation, update, upgrade, and patching steps.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or another related field. Or equivalent work experience.
- Linux basic knowledge (Administration is a plus)
- Good communication skills.
- From 7 to 10 years of experience in WebSphere Application Server administration (Certification is a plus).
- Security knowledge is a must.
- Good documentation and presentation skills.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to do fast learning, receiving, and delivering handovers in a timely fashion.
- A good planner has the ability to plan for system enhancements, patching, and upgrades.
- Fast adaptation to different working environments.
