We are searching for the best talent for **New Product Development Manager **to be in **Juarez, Mexico.**

**Porpuse**:
Directs and coordinates activities of one or more engineering programs within operations, in support of new product development. These programs and NPD transfers will include Manufacturing/Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Systems, Transfer Processes, Technology Development, Tools (Design, Manufacturing, Assembly, Procurement and Calibration). Manages and works on problems of diverse scope where data analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Makes judgments within BWI's practices and policies; selects methods and techniques for troubleshooting. Directs and coordinates engineering through subordinate engineers and technicians to reach production goals/NPD consistent with costs, high quality, profitability and required delivery times and DFM. Interact with the New Product Development process to generate processes and introduce plans for new products. It gives direction and adapts the tests and recommends changes in the processes and designs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The oversight received is essentially administrative, with responsibilities given in terms of plans for NPD projects and transfers.
- Fully assigned technical and administrative responsibilities to interpret, organize and coordinate its manufacturing activities.
- Establishes operational goals and objectives to achieve the goals and strategies of the organization.
- Prepares project schedules and coordinates engineers' activities to ensure specifications such as organizational goals and strategies are met.
- Plans and develops projects (engineering, process development, maintenance systems, transfer of operations, etc.) on unique and controversial situations or problems that have a significant or greater impact on the programs of the organization and the Business Units.
- This includes the exploration of related areas, definition of scopes and selection of problems to investigate and develop concepts and solutions to get closer and closer to the improvement of the product in quality and productivity.
- He maintains liaison with individuals and project leaders within his organization, with the responsibility of acting independently in the technical and in activities related to his area.
- Implements target systems and procedures to ensure that machines and equipment are leveraged and meet specifications. Reviews equipment and machinery requirements based on production schedules. Determines and monitors the implementation of capital requirements for improvement.
- Reviews and approves STD process and design specifications. Reviews and approves changes for documentation.
- Responsible for supporting the assignments made by the management to collaborate with all Johnson & Johnson Juárez campuses

**Qualifications**:

- Professional career or Master of Science
- More than 9 years of experience if you have a Professional Career.
- More than 5 years of experience or training if you have a master’s degree
- Experience in the Medical area is recommended.
- Statistical knowledge, SSBB certification is recommended.
- Must possess a clear theoretical and practical ability of the fundamental engineering techniques applicable to the function of supervising, demonstrating previous skills.
- Available to travel when needed.
- Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge of facility maintenance equipment and systems, as well as calibration standards for equipment, tools, and documentation control systems in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Skills in the use of PCs and software related to their activity.
- Ability to manage projects of high limit, scope, and duration. Knowledge of the principles and methods, tools, and techniques of Project Management.
