- Responsibilities: Actively design and own the detailed architecture of microservices.
- Review pull requests and guide engineers through code-level decisions and best practices.
- Lead by example, participating in the technical implementation and mentoring team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend and frontend) to ensure high-quality delivery of digital products.
- Translate business and product requirements into scalable, maintainable, and performant technical solutions.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Recent and practical experience with GCP, GKE, Java/Spring Boot, and Python.
- Solid technical background with a strong focus on Java backend development.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React and Next.js.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design principles.
- Experience delivering scalable, secure, and high-availability systems.
- Good knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and web services integration.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with databases and caching technologies like Redis, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a product-oriented mindset, capable of balancing user needs with technical decisions.
- Experience working in product-driven environments or companies.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish (written and verbal), with the ability to engage stakeholders and align on goals.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, with experience leading teams through iterative development cycles.
- Ability to mentor, knowledge sharing, and uplifting the engineering culture.
